Asfa Davy Bya, S.H. (Partner)
Asfa Davy Bya obtained his Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. He was actively involved in journalism and served as a manager of the university’s student press.
He began his professional career in the legal department of a non-bank financial institution before joining Hanafiah Soeharto Ponggawa. He subsequently cofounded the law firms Bya Ongko Sidharta Tadjoedin and Bya & Chaidir, building extensive experience in the legal profession and developing a broad practice across litigation, dispute resolution, and corporate and commercial matters.
Drawing upon his extensive experience and long-standing commitment to the legal profession, Mr. Davy is the founding partner of Bya and Bya Law Firm, where he continues to shape the firm’s vision, values, and approach to providing practical and strategic legal solutions to its clients.
He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and the
Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (Himpunan Konsultan Pasar Modal). He also completed internships at Graham & James in Los Angeles and Deacons in Hong Kong. Mr. Davy has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including
proceedings before the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI). His nonlitigation practice encompasses corporate and commercial matters, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, employment and labor, real estate and property, immigration, and construction.
He has represented and advised several banks in connection with their
liquidation by the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN), including Bank Industri and Bank Pelita. He has also been involved in Built, Operate and Transfer (BOT) development projects for hotels and shopping malls in West Java. Currently, he is involved in assisting with the preparation and development of the North Bali International Airport project in Kubutambahan, Bali.

Ahmad Xavier Bya, S.H. (Associate)
Ahmad Xavier Bya is an Associate at Bya and Bya Law Firm, where he has been practicing since 2021. His practice involves legal drafting, legal research, dispute-related matters, contract negotiations, and providing legal assistance to clients in various legal proceedings. In his practice, Ahmad has experience in preparing and reviewing various legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, motions, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
He also assists clients in contract negotiations and settlement discussions, while working closely with senior associates and other members of the legal team. Ahmad is also experienced in conducting legal research and regulatory analysis to support legal matters and proceedings. His work includes researching applicable laws, regulations, and legal materials, as well as assisting in the preparation of legal counsel and assessments for clients.
Ahmad obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from Padjadjaran University,
Bandung, in 2017 and is a Certified Advocate of the Indonesian Advocates
Association (PERADI)

Abiya Rahmanda Bya, S.H. (Associate)
Abiya Rahmanda Bya is an Associate at Bya and Bya Law Firm, where he has been practicing since 2025. His practice focuses on Corporate & Commercial Law, Contract Drafting and Review, Legal Due Diligence, Employment Law, Business Licensing and Regulatory Compliance, as well as Dispute Resolution and Litigation. In Corporate and Commercial matters, Abiya has experience in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing various agreements, including Sale and Purchase Agreements, Consignment Agreements, cooperation agreements, and other commercial agreements between limited liability companies. He also assists clients with corporate and commercial matters, including business licensing, employment matters, contractual arrangements, and legal documentation required for business operations. Abiya is experienced in conducting Legal Due Diligence (LDD) by reviewing corporate, contractual, licensing, employment, and other legal documents to identify potential legal risks and compliance issues. He also conducts legal research and analysis to support contract drafting, due diligence processes, client matters, and dispute resolution strategies. In Dispute Resolution and Litigation, Abiya has assisted in PKPU proceedings and prepared various legal documents required throughout litigation and dispute resolution processes, including statements of claim, appeal submissions, evidence documents, and witness examination questions. He has also assisted in handling criminal matters before the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police Department, including the preparation and management of relevant legal documents. Abiya obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan in 2025. He has also completed the Pendidikan Khusus Profesi Advokat (PKPA) PERADI and passed the Bar Examination of PERADI in 2025.
